ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) is looking to grow its service with up to 40 new recruit firefighters.
With applications opening on 19 February 2024, the Canberra community is encouraged to start thinking now if a career as a firefighter would be right for them.
Working as a firefighter in ACTF&R you will be fully trained in all areas of firefighting, rescue and hazardous materials handling. You will be a part of a 24/7 rapid response capability providing assistance during emergency incidents in the ACT, working alongside other emergency services.
ACTF&R is looking for recruits who are ready, willing and able to become a firefighter. A career in this service is both a challenging and rewarding one.
